Last season finalists Chord started their cup run this season against Premier division side Bay Fc at home and they got off to a great start bossing the game in the 1st half and getting a goal for their rewards (GOAL MISSED ON CAMERA!!) In fact they should have been a couple of goals ahead before half time but for some missed chances and some good defending from the Bay back 4.
The second half saw a reversal of the 1st with Bay coming into the game and getting a lot more of the possession and carving out chances to equalise, and they could have scored on a couple of occasions but for some great saves from Chords goalkeeper. In the end Bay could just not find that finish that would have sent this game into extra time and Chord progress to the next round.
