Boyne Harps were crowned O Neill Shield Champions last night after a rain soaked victory over Parkvilla in the MDL Grounds. Its the first knockout competition this season and the Drogheda side ran out 2-0 winners in a very competitive match. It also means Danny Doyle, manager of Harps reserve side claimed another trophy to add to his personal collection, the Ardee man, along side Barry Woods continues to win trophys with every team he manages and his Harps side still are in the hunt for league and cup honours this season.
