OMP Utd come from behind to claim all 3 points in opening day win

After falling behind to former player, Derek Bowens, opener for Athboy, OMP produced a comeback to claim 3 points in their return to division 1.
OMP had couple of chances to take the lead before the opening goal but their goals didn’t come until midway through second half when substitute and New signing, Richie Massey, lobbed the keeper from a superb Casey pass, to draw level and then produce a sublime finish off the outside of the boot to secure the win.
In an entertaining game, with chances at each end, Jack Walsh, Shaun Doyle, Donal Callan, Josh Gaffney were the pick of a superb team display whilst Richie Massey turned in a MotM display with his 2 goals.?⚫️
