Tonight Christy will receive a Services to Football award at the FAI AGM in Kilkenny. FAI CEO John Delaney announced the award at Trim Celtics 50th Anniversary celebration after hearing Christy’s role in the foundation of Trim Celtic Club and his perseverance in the face of adversity at the time.
It is yet again fantastic to see such a high profile award come back to Meath and a club associated with us. We are extremely happy for Christy on this occasion. Enjoy the much deserved reward and have a great night tonight.
